BACK IN TIME

Feb. 15, 1902

Police headquarters was the rendezvous last night for the bicycle dealers of this city. Their presence was caused by the opening of bids by the department for the furnishing of the wheels to be used by the Bicycle Squad to be formed and operated by the force.

The special committee met in the office of chief Norris at 8 o'clock to canvass the bids, award the contracts, etc.

Tonight, the board will name the men who will be selected for the Bicycle Squad.
