Mrs. Mildred Waggoner (HARLEM, Ga.)



HARLEM, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, February 11, 2002, at her residence. Mrs. Mildred Cleo Waggoner, 93, of North Louisville Street, wife of the late Mr. Oscar Waggoner. Mrs. Waggoner, a native of Bolivar, Mo., was a resident of Harlem since 1985. She had retired as Nutritionist for the Bolivar High School. She had attended South West Baptist College and taught school in the Bolivar School System. Mrs. Waggoner initiated the "Grandmother" program for Head Start and remained active until 1984. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bolivar where she served as a nursery worker for numerous years. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and one brother. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Waggoner McGhee and Gene McGhee, of Harlem; one brother, Wayne Fish, Bolivar, Mo.; sister-in-law Thelma Fish, Bolivar; two grandchildren, Kirk Gaulden, Harlem, and Pam Moseley, Fort Myers, Fla.; one stepgrandson, Mark McGhee and wife, Gwen McGhee, Harlem; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews and good friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missouri Baptist Childrens Home, 11300 Saint. Charles Rock Road, Bridgeton, MO. 63044-2793. The body has been conveyed to Butler Funeral Home, 407 East Broadway Street, Bolivar, MO. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2002, at Mt.
