Mrs. Lona Crawford (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga.- Entered into rest Wednesday, February 6, 2002, at the Medical College of Georgia, Mrs. Lona Cathryn Crawford of Walton Way. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 11, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Davis and Rev. Raford Roundtree officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Barnwell County and was retired from Walton Rehabilitation Center. Survivors are five daughters, Shirley Mosley, Cheryl Crawford, Kathryn Guzman, all of Augusta, Jereen (Willie) Walton, Queens, N.Y., Yvonne Crawford, Greenville, S.C.; two sons, Richard Crawford Jr., Ronnie Crawford, Augusta; two sisters, Hildred (Tony) Williams, Martha (John) Winfield, Augusta; three brothers, George (Minnie) Mitchell, James (Mary) Mitchell, Augusta, Monroe (Cherrie) Mitchell Jr., Greenville, S.C.; 14 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
