Mrs. Virginia Collins (AUGUSTA, Ga.)



AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Virginia Dare Collins, 98, of Forsthe Street entered into rest on Monday, February 4, 2002, at the University Hospital. The graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2002, at 1:30 p.m. at The Edden Baptist Church Cemetery, Louisville, Ga. The funeral procession will leave Peoples Funeral Home at noon. She was a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of which Rev. Thomas Walker is pastor. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John (MiflinBackey) Williams. Survivors include, four sisters, Mrs. Christine Taylor Monroe of Augusta, Mrs. Ophelia Sanders, Mrs. Miflin Ewing, of New York City and Mrs. Fannie B. Davis, of Detroit, Mich; a brother, Mr. Sidney Williams of Newark, N.J.; nine nieces a host of cousins and sorrowing friends. Peoples Funeral Home, 706-724-1885, FX. 706-724-6408
