KEYSVILLE, Ga. - Entered into rest on Tuesday, in Burke County, Mrs. Louise Powell, 78, of Martin Luther King Jr. Street, Keysville. Mrs. Powell was a native of Burke County, and a member of Spring Hill Baptist Church, Blythe. Survivors include a loving and devoted husband, Mr. Sam Powell, four sons, Sammie (Mary Ann) Powell, Keysville; George A. (Willie Mae) Powell, Vidette; John W. (Bobbie Mae) Powell, Keysville; David (Willie Queen) Keysville; daughters, Ms. Marilyn Powell, Ms. Maefield Streetman, Ms. Diane (Willie Hannah) Roberson, Ms. Delores (Stanley) Carter, Mrs. Debroah Ann Williams, all of Keysville; brother, David Martin; sister, Mrs. Maefield Scruggs; 24 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 9, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. from Springhill Baptist Church, Rev. Willie Mincey officiating. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home. The historic Dents Undertaking Establishment serving the CSRA since the 1800s.
