AIKEN, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Lula Leech Kelley will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at 1 p.m. in Earle Church of God with Revs. Tony Garrett and Bo Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Kelley, 80, of Wire Road, Aiken, widow of Leroy Kelley, died Friday, January 11, 2002, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was a life long resident of Aiken and was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Spicer Leech. She was a member of Earle Church of God and was a homemaker. Survivors include two sons, William L. Kelley, Graniteville, Leonard R. "Bo" Kelley, Aiken; seven daughters, Louise Fulmer, Mary Fulmer Hill, Betty Sheppard, Daisey Johnson, all of Aiken, Lucille Proctor, Johnston, Barbara Matthews and Dorothy Fanning, both of Aiken; 27 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kelley is also survived by her special friend, James Gunter. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Leida Sternberg and a son, Ronald Kelley. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Earle Church of God.
