AUGUSTA, Ga. - Carrie Leysath Pyke of Augusta, age 41, died Wednesday, January 2, 2002, at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bibleway Church Of Our Lord Jesus Christ, 2029 Grand Blvd. Bishops Sylvester Norwood and William Frazier Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 7p.m. at Kinsey & Walton Funeral Home. A native of Aiken, S.C., Carrie attended The Lord Our Righteousness Church of God in New Ellenton, S.C. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mabel S. Leysath. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her widower, Kenneth Pyke; daughter, LaKeisha Leysath; son, Austin Mills both of Augusta; father, Elder Henry Leysath; brothers, John Henry Leysath Jr., Aiken, S.C., Ernest Leysath, Augusta; sisters, Eartha Frazier, New Ellenton, S.C., Ella Booker, Charlotte, N.C., Betty Adams, Clarksville, Tenn. and Chris Leysath-Bush, Aiken, SC; grandchild Bryson Leysath, Augusta.
