TENNILLE, Ga. - Mr. Eston Price Sr., 88, of Tennille, died Saturday, Jan. 5 at Glenvue nursing home in Glennville. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Directors Tennille Chapel with burial in Zeta Cemetery. Rev. Mark Jones III will officiate. Pallbearers will be Trey Price, Earl Hutto, Mickey Whitley, Robbie Roberson, Chris Albright and Ron McGahee. Mr. Price was born in Johnson County, the son of the late Warren Price and the late Amanda Beasley Price. He was a long time resident of Tennille and was a member of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Price was retired from Thiele Kaolin Co. after 34 years of service and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was the widower of the late Eunice Tyson Price. Survivors include his son Eston and Ann Price Jr. of Claxton, Ga.; a daughter Cececlia and Ron Brett of Sandersville, Ga.; a grandson, Trey Price of Claxton; granddaughters, Holly Price Hutto of Claxton, Rhonda Brett Whitley of Aiken, S.C., Regina Brett Johnson of Greenwood, S.C., Kim Brett Roberson of Sandersville and Krista Brett-Albright of Davisboro, Ga.; 11 great grandchildren; a brother-in-law, James Peavey of Tennille and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 p.m. at the May and Smith Tennille Chapel. Donations may be made to the Tennille Baptist Church 203 N. Main St. Tennille, Ga. 31089.
