DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Dorothy C. Dilliplane, 66, widow of Mr. Arthur F. Dilliplane died Friday, January 4, 2002, at the St. Joseph Hospital. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12 at the residence. Mrs. Dilliplane, a native of Macon, had lived in Dearing for many years. She was an interior and exterior decorator, a painter, a wood worker, a carpenter and a published author and song writer. Survivors include two daughters, Kathryne J. Jones and Deborah L. McGahee; three sons, Arthur H. "Buck" Dilliplane, Roger L. Dilliplane and David W. Dilliplane; two sisters, Mary Lucille Wade and Lucy Joan Annis; a brother, William H. "Dub" Clifton; 18 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and many other family members. Friends may call at the residence.
