WILLISTON, S.C. - Donnie ONeal Lucas Sr., 58, died Sunday. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Williston United Methodist Curch. Burial in the Williston Cemetery with Masonic Rites accorded. Memorials may be made to the Williston United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 401, Williston, S.C. 29853. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Folk Funeral Home, Williston, S.C. Born in Cayce, S.C., a son of the late Samuel P. Lucas and Ruby Wise Lucas. He was a rigging and heavy equipment supervisor at the Savannah River Site, member of the Williston United Methodist Church, Hope Masonic Lodge #126, U.S. Navy Veteran, and a volunteer for more than 25 years for the Williston recreation department as a football and baseball coach. Survivors include his wife,Susan Turner Lucas of Williston; sons, Donnie ONeal "Luke" Lucas Jr., of Williston, Jacob Matthew "Jake" Lucas of Williston; daughters, Leann Sims of Iva, Lisa Inabinet of Williston; brothers, Samuel Lucas of West Columbia, Jerry Lucas of Camden; sisters, Francis Strubler of Riverdale, N.J., Ruby Seagers of Kershaw; and four grandchildren.
