BACK IN TIME

DEC. 23, 1934

While the local legislative delegation apparently has given most of its attention to legislation designed to revise city and county governmental units, it developed yesterday that another major question - the Medical College of the University of Georgia located here - will be tackled with a view of a satisfactory settlement guaranteeing continued existence of the institution.

Billy Barrett, newest member of the delegation, announced his intention of supporting a movement to have the Legislature make a direct appropriation through the Board of Regents of the University System.
