While the local legislative delegation apparently has given most of its attention to legislation designed to revise city and county governmental units, it developed yesterday that another major question - the Medical College of the University of Georgia located here - will be tackled with a view of a satisfactory settlement guaranteeing continued existence of the institution.
Billy Barrett, newest member of the delegation, announced his intention of supporting a movement to have the Legislature make a direct appropriation through the Board of Regents of the University System.
