Mr. Jack Pittman

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Jack Glenn Pittman, entered into rest at the Veterans Administration Medical Center on Friday, December 14, 2001. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4 until 5 p.m. Mr. Pittman, a native of Douglas, Ga., grew up in Jacksonville, Fla. and has resided in Augusta for 46 years. He was a light equipment operator for the City of Augusta, working at West View and Magnolia Cemeteries for 17 years and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Pittman is survived by his loving wife Betty Simmons Pittman, Augusta; daughters, Jewel Manders, Rosalee Gibson both of Augusta; sons, George Russ, Augusta Gerald Russ, Waynesboro, Robert Russ, Evans, Charles Green, Augusta, and Raymond Green, Hephzibah, 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
