Activities and entertainment events scheduled for this week include:

TODAY

AUGUSTA JAYCEE CHRISTMAS PARADE: The parade, from 2 to 4 p.m., will begin at 13th and Broad streets, proceed east on Broad in the westbound lanes, then turn right on Seventh Street and end at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center. For more information, call 731-9527.

ART TOUR: Morris Museum of Art, 1 10th St., will offer a guided tour of museum highlights at 2 p.m. Admission is free on Sundays. Hours are noon to 5 p.m. For more information, call 724-7501.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL: The Augusta Players conclude their production of A Christmas Carol with a 3 p.m. matinee at the Imperial Theatre, 745 Broad St. Tickets cost $25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students. TUESDAY CHEERLEADING CLINIC: The Augusta Stallions cheerleaders will hold a cheerleading and dance clinic at 7:30 p.m. at Omni Health and Fitness Center, 2834 Washington Road. The clinic is designed to assist women who plan to audition for the squad when tryouts are held Jan. 12. The clinic will include tips on hair, makeup, attire and a brief dance routine. WEDNESDAY TOY GIVEAWAY: James Brown's annual toy giveaway starts at 11 a.m. at the Imperial Theatre, 745 Broad St. New, unwrapped toys for the giveaway may be dropped off at Mr. Brown's radio station, WAAW-FM (94.7) at 870 Broad St., or at the Imperial the morning of the event.
