Bucketmouth Bassmasters Team Tournament Dec. 1 results Larry Miller reporting

Larry Miller and Ron McKee, nine bass, 13 pounds, 11 ounces. Don Hedburg and Greg Smith, four bass, 7.9 pounds. Steve McGahee and Tim Lane, four bass, 4.12 pounds. Big fish: Hedburg, 2.6 pounds. Ten fishermen caught 31 bass weighing 35 pounds, 5 ounces and all were released alive.

The club, affiliated with the Mr. Clark Hill Committee, Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and the Georgia BASS Federation, is looking for new members. Anyone interested is asked to call Brian Ely at (706) 359-6276 during the evening.

Meetings are held at El Valle Mexican Restaurant on the last Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Young people 16 and older and those new to bass tournament fishing are welcome.

Suburban Bassmasters Dec. 8 results Henry Bordeaux reporting

Don Kohli, seven bass, 14.05 pounds. Henry Bordeaux, nine bass, 11.08 pounds. Steve McGahee, five bass, 6.02 pounds. Eight fishermen caught 32 bass weighing 46.09 pounds and all were released alive.

The club's Top 6: Henry Bordeaux, 333 points; Frank Wodzisz, 328 points; Don Kohli, 316; Lester Clark, 299.5; Kip Ashmore, 281.5; Gregg Grant, 246.5. Big bass of the year: Don Kohli, 6 pounds, 14 ounces.

Clark Hill Striper Club Bill Tinley reporting

The club is interested in boaters and nonboaters who'd like to join. The club meets every second Tuesday of the month at the Golden Corral restaurant on Bobby Jones Expressway at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in striper/hybrid fishing is welcome to attend. Saturday Morning Open Team Dec. 8 results Ron Brown reporting

Marty Quesada Sr., and Jr., six bass, 13.95 pounds. Bart Blackburn and Joe Ludwig, seven bass, 13.14 pounds. Jason Bullard and Rick Bullard, seven bass, 12.81 pounds. Big fish: Marty Jr., 4.44 pounds. Fourteen boats in the field.

There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per person. Entry fee is $30. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Chuck's Lakeside Marine, Sportsman's Link of Martinez, Rick's Paint & Body of Martinez, White Columns Inn of Thomson and Augusta Marine Superstore, authorized Stratos and Javelin dealer. They will be held every Saturday from safe light until 3 p.m., until further notice out of Little River Marina. Tournaments will not be held when dates conflict with Clark Hill Committee events. Anglers must fish a total of 6 tournaments to qualify for the SMOT Classic, which will pay a guaranteed $10,000 to the first-place team based on 30 boats. One place will be paid for every 10 additional boats. Qualified teams will pay $150 to compete in the Classic, while non-qualifiers must pay $400. For more information: Bart Blackburn, 278-1451. Garden City Bassmasters Dec. 8 results Steve Foust reporting

Steve Foust, five bass, 8.93 pounds. Lee Sidener, five bass, 7.55 pounds. Marty Quesada Jr., three bass, 7.29 pounds. Big fish: Quesada Jr., 4.44 pounds. Eleven fishermen caught 28 bass weighing 48.31 pounds and all were released alive.

The club's Top 6: Marty Quesada Jr., Keith Williamson, Bob Rogers, Kerry Mock, Steve Foust, Lee Sidener. Big bass of the year: Joe Newman, 8.60 pounds.

Twin Cities Bassmasters Dec. 8 results Jay Jennings reporting

Jay Jennings, five bass, 11 pounds, 4 ounces. Bruce Perkins, five bass, 6 pounds, 7 ounces. Billy Black, five bass, 6 pounds, 5 ounces. Big fish: Bill Stiger, 4 pounds, 6 ounces. Fourteen fishermen caught 25 bass weighing 41.09 pounds and all were released.

Fort Gordon Sportsman's Club Jewel Jessie reporting

Entry fee is $10 per member, $20 per non-member, optional $5 big fish pot, with a 60 percent payback. Registration is with the club prior to the tournament or 30 minutes before the event's start.
