The club, affiliated with the Mr. Clark Hill Committee, Bass Anglers Sportsman Society and the Georgia BASS Federation, is looking for new members. Anyone interested is asked to call Brian Ely at (706) 359-6276 during the evening.
Meetings are held at El Valle Mexican Restaurant on the last Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Young people 16 and older and those new to bass tournament fishing are welcome.

There is a one-time registration fee of $20 per person. Entry fee is $30. Regular tournaments are sponsored by Chuck's Lakeside Marine, Sportsman's Link of Martinez, Rick's Paint & Body of Martinez, White Columns Inn of Thomson and Augusta Marine Superstore, authorized Stratos and Javelin dealer. They will be held every Saturday from safe light until 3 p.m., until further notice out of Little River Marina. Tournaments will not be held when dates conflict with Clark Hill Committee events. Anglers must fish a total of 6 tournaments to qualify for the SMOT Classic, which will pay a guaranteed $10,000 to the first-place team based on 30 boats.
