Activities and entertainment events scheduled for the next few days include:


LYNX TOY DRIVE: Fans who donate a new, unwrapped toy to the Toys for Tots drive at tonight's Augusta Lynx hockey game will receive a buy-one, get-one-free ticket to Sunday's game against the Charlotte Checkers. Tonight's game against the Greensboro Generals begins at 7:35 at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center, 605 Seventh St. Sunday's game is at 4:05 p.m. For ticket information, call 724-4423.

CHRISTMAS PLAY: The Augusta Players will present A Christmas Carol at 8 p.m. at the Imperial Theatre, 745 Broad St. Admission is $10-$25. The play will continue at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Call 826-4707 for information or reservations.


HARLEM CHRISTMAS PARADE: The Harlem Christmas parade will start at 2 p.m. It will travel down Georgia Highway 78 and through downtown Harlem.

BOOK SIGNING: Karin Calloway will sign copies of her new cookbook Quick Cooking with Karin at two locations: Merry Times, 395 Highland Ave., in Surrey Center, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and Fat Man's Forest, 1545 Laney-Walker Blvd., from 2 to 4 p.m. The book is $14.95.


AUGUSTA JAYCEE CHRISTMAS PARADE: The parade, from 2 to 4 p.m., will begin at 13th and Broad streets, proceed east on Broad in the westbound lanes, then turn right on Seventh Street and end at the Augusta-Richmond County Civic Center. For information, call 731-9527.
