Chief now corrupt enough to return

On Dec. 9 The Washington Times reported that Chief Ronnie Few, our last fire chief, is once again being accused of malfeasance in office. This time, it is awarding sole source contracts to an old friend and failing to report the details in his financial statements.

Perhaps this is just the opportunity for which a number of our Augusta commissioners have been waiting.

I am sure that with Chief Few's new alleged experiences in graft, corruption, and "fix-it," he is just the man for the job here in Augusta. Of course, we will have to foot the bill for his relocation plus meet or exceed his current salary of $130,000.
