AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. William "Ken" Kenneth Bame, 75, of Old Louisville Road, Augusta, entered into rest on Monday, December 10, 2001, at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at Platts Crawford Avenue Chapel on Friday, December 14, 2001, at 3 p.m., with Rev. Lanis Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Survivors include two sons, Ken Bame Jr. of Martinez and Mike Bame of Perkins; a daughter, Kathy Bame LeRoy of Lincolnton; two brothers, Jim Bame and Paul Bame, both of Gastonia, N.C.; four sisters, Mattalle Dehart, Archie Oats, Faye Craven and Margaret Garist, all of Gastonia, N.C.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A native of Gastonia, N.C., Mr. Bame was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Augusta Bowling Association.
