AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. James "Jim" Cooper Horne, age 45, entered into rest on Wednesday, December 12, 2001, at Emory University Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2001, 11 a.m. at Elliott Sons Telfair Street Chapel with Rev. Amy Perry officiating. Mr. Horne was born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey and had resided in the Augusta area for the last 36 years. He graduated from Aquanis High School and attended Augusta College. Mr. Horne worked as a Psychiatric Therapist at Georgia Regional Hospital for 20 years. Mr. Horne is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Nadene Horne, Augusta; his daughter, Eleanor Lanier Horne; his stepson and daughter-in-law, Nick and Melinda Denise Mosca; his two grandchildren, Jarod Sosa Mosca and Nicholas Kaleb Mosca; his mother, Mary Alice Cooper Horne; his two brothers, Stanford Smith Horne and Eugene Lewis Horne Jr.; his sister, Marianne Horne McTier; his two nephews, Stanford Horne Jr. and Jerry McTier and his two nieces, Melissa Horne and Jessica McTeir. The family will receive friends at the residence of Mrs. Horne, 1317 Highland Avenue, Augusta, GA. immediately following the memorial service.
