HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. Billy Smith Pipkins, 69, husband of Marjorie Pipkins, of Heaton Road, entered into rest Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at the Eisenhower Medical Center in Augusta. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 7, 2001, at 10 a.m., in the chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Dr. Jimmy Adams and Chaplain Mark Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mr. Pipkins was a native of Houston County, Alabama and has lived in Harlem for the past 21 years. He served in the US Army and was retired from the US Air Force as a printer after 35 years of service. Additional survivors include two daughters, Lauree Hamilton of North Augusta, S.C. and Katrina Olivia Chandler of Columbia, S.C.; one brother, Willis Eugene Pipkins of Enterprise, Alabama; one sister, Helen Stokes of Groveland, Calif.; four grandchildren, Thomas Clinton Chandler III, Columbia, S.C., Hannah Kate Hamilton, Ashleigh Nicole Hamilton, Carleigh Layne Hamilton North Augusta, S.C. Friends may call at the residence of Lauree Hamilton at 1004 Spruce Court, North Augusta, SC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6-8 PM. Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
