Johnson & Wales University culinary school is offering thousands of dollars in scholarship money in the 13th annual National High School Recipe Contest, to be held March 15-17. The deadline for entries is Jan. 25.
High school seniors may submit original recipes following the nutrition guidelines of the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.

The grand prize winner in each category will receive a renewable full-tuition scholarship to the school, valued at $68,000. First and second runners-up will receive $7,500 and $5,000 renewable scholarships, respectively. All other finalists will receive $3,500 renewable-tuition scholarships.
