AUGUSTA, Ga. - Deborah Jean Cook of Rushing Road, Augusta, died Sunday, December 2, 2001, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at 1 p.m. from the Union Baptist Church near Warthen, Ga., in Washington County. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, on Tuesday, December 4, 2001, from 6 to 9 p.m. Ms. Cook, a lifelong resident of Augusta, Richmond County, Georgia, was owner/operator of Ms Pies Pizza in Hephzibah, and was known to her friends and customers as Ms. Pie and was former PTA president at Sego Middle School in Augusta. She is preceded in death by her parents John Lovett Cook and Peggy Cook of Augusta, and her grandmother, Alma Mills Cook, formerly of Washington County, Ga. Survivors include her children, Cherri Paige Cook and Jonathan Chadwick Cook of Augusta; her fiancee Robert Alan Blakey of Augusta; a sister, Sheila Cook James of New Ellenton, S.C.; two brothers, Keith Lovett Cook of Augusta, and Jimmy Lee Williams of Augusta; two aunts, Mrs. Eula Mills Cook of Augusta, and Mrs. Pauline Peavy Cook of Sandersville.
