AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Madge E. Watts, wife of the late Mr. James Wiley Watts, entered into rest Sunday, December 2, 2001, at the University Hospital in Augusta. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, December 4, 2001, at 2 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Marion Jay officiating. (Family and friends are requested to assemble at the grave). Mrs. Watts was a native of Chester, S.C., and had lived in Augusta since 1959. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughter, Jean Dixon of Augusta; and her son, James "Rocky" Watts of Augusta; five grandchildren, Charles Whisnant, Wayne Watts, Brian Watts, Steven James and Michael James; and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Connie Johnson, Helen Lovelace and Brenda Ard, all of Rock Hill, S.C.; three brothers, Frank Roof of Atlanta, James Roof and Bruce Roof, both of Rock Hill. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road.
