Hits editorial as irreligious

For a conservative newspaper that prints a biblical verse every day, The Chronicle sure was off base with its Nov. 27 "Try 'em, kill 'em" editorial.

There hasn't been a religious service I've been to in the four years I've lived in Augusta that has ever advocated "an eye for an eye." What is it about "Thou shalt not kill" you do not understand?

Like Confucius said, "In the presence of a good man, think all the time how you may learn to equal him. In the presence of a bad man, turn your gaze within."
