HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Ret. SFC Cecil Charles Crocker, age 58, of Wood Lake Road, Hephzibah, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2001. He was born September 27, 1943, and retired from the United States Army with 22 years of service. His military honors included First Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star Medal, 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster and four honorable discharges. Preceded in death by parents, Cecil Freeman Crocker and Mary Alice Crocker. Survivors include wife, Audrey Mae Crocker; son, Charles Jerome Crocker, daughter, Joy Carleen Johnson; sisters, Mary Jo Thompson and Elaine King; brother, David Lee Crocker, grandchildren, Nicole Crocker, Lindsay Johnson, Ryan Johnson. Funeral services for Mr. Crocker will be conducted Thursday November 29, 2001, at 3 p.m. from the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home. The interment will follow in Sanders Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 28, 2001, from 7 until 9 p.m. from the Gammage Funeral Home. Gammage Funeral Home of Cedartown, Ga. is in charge of the arrangements.
