WHAT'S NEW

Protecting with bubbles

3M has introduced an alternative to packing peanuts and bubble packaging. The company's inflatable packaging is designed to protect items during shipping and storage. Users place the item in the bag within a bag, then inflate the outer bag by blowing into the straw provided. Prices range from $2.99 for very small Inflata-Paks that hold watches and jewelry to $5.65 for an extra-large size that can hold a wine bottle. Inflata-Paks are available at drug, discount and grocery stores that sell packaging supplies.
