ATLANTA -- The Atlanta Hawks placed center Theo Ratliff on the injured list Monday with hip flexor and groin problems.
The injuries limited Ratliff to two appearances in the preseason, but he started Atlanta's first two regular-season games. He was averaging 12 points and 6.5 rebounds. Ratliff missed Saturday's victory over the Miami Heat, and was replaced in the lineup by Nazr Mohammed.
The Hawks didn't immediately replace Ratliff on the roster.
