AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest October 25, 2001, at University Hospital, Mrs. Dorothy OLeary, beloved wife of 53 years of Mr. Dennis L. OLeary. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2001, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Karl J. Dunker officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. A native of Macon, Georgia, she had also resided in Augusta and Martinez since 1958. She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Augusta. Mrs. OLeary was a business owner in Augusta for 42 years, the last 23 at Augusta Mall. She was the first president of the Golf Capitol Chapter of the American Business Womens Association when it was formed in the 1960s. She also had the distinction as a teenager of being one of the first Department of the Army civilians to work at the Pentagon while it was under construction during World War II. She is also survived by a brother, John H. Molton; two sisters, Mrs. James (Mavis) Green and Mrs. Charles (Frances) Wheeler; two brothers, Durwood Molton and Hollis D. Molton preceded her in death. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers and if so desired, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2623 Washington Road, Augusta, GA 30904 or to the Childrens Miracle Network, 1446 Harper Street, Augusta, GA 30912 and would be appreciated by Dorothy and her family. Visitation will be held at Platts Funeral Home Belair Road Chapel, 337 North Belair Road, Evans on Monday, October 29, 2001, from 6 to 8 p.m.
