The punishments of two South Carolina teen-agers was inaccurately reported in Wednesday's editions of The Augusta Chronicle.
According to court records, James C. Sellers and Wesley A. Matthews received a sentence of no more than five years in the South Carolina Department of Corrections under the youthful offender law, a suspended five-year prison term and five years'probation. The prison term is suspended on the start of their probation.
The Chronicle regrets the error.
