Ms. Ada Holton



WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Ms. Ada Mae Edenfield Holton, 85, of Waynesboro, formerly of Midville, entered into rest Tuesday, October 16, 2001, at Burke Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2001, at Midville Baptist Church, Midville, with the Revs. Leonard Quick and Philip Benham officiating. Interment will be in Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro. Mrs. Holton will lie-in-state in the church one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Holton was a native of Jenkins County, and lived most of her life in Burke County. She was a homemaker and a member of Midville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Holton in 1995 and a daughter, Janell Holton Jones in 1999. Survivors include three sons, Darrell Holton, Abilene, Texas; Arthur Holton, Waynesboro, Ray Holton, Snellville; a daughter, Faye Benham, Garland, Texas; two brothers, Wallace Edenfield, Millen, Hermon Edenfield, Lawrenceville; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons John D. Holton Jr., Jeff Holton, David Benham, Jason Benham; Robby Harless, Craig Kean, Mark Herrington. Memorial contributions may be made to Midville Baptist Church, Midville, GA 30441. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at DeLoach Funeral Home, 842 Liberty St., Waynesboro, GA
