CLARKS HILL, S.C. - On October 15 at 11:45 p.m. the Lord sent His Holy Angles to take my bride Sandra Pihl home to be with Him. Mrs. Pihl was the wife of Mr. Edward S. Pihl of River Bend Drive, Clarks Hill. She was the mother of Merrill David Morrison of Cincinnati, Ohio, James L. Pihl of Jacksonville, Fla., and Heather M. Pihl of Locust Grove, Ga.; and the sister of Joyce Carter of Graniteville, Doris Henderson of New Ellenton, and Claude W. Stallings of Bath. Additional survivors include six grandchildren. Mrs. Pihl was born in Aiken County to the late Blease and Lessie Pryor Stallings. She was a State Farm claims representative with 27 years of services and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Hatcher Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Gordon Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pregnancy Care Center, 1298 Broad Street, Augusta, GA. 30901. Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hatcher Funeral Home, U.S. Hwy #1, Langley, S.C.
