Recently Chronicle sports writer Scott Michaux paid tribute to Robert Tyre Jones Jr., the greatest amateur golfer in history. He told of the stream of visitors who come every day - some stay all day - to Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery off of Memorial Drive.
He said, "He shares these six acres with about 70,000 other souls, including Gone With the Wind author Margaret Mitchell."
A living soul has never been buried and never will be. Only God takes care of the dwelling place of the soul at the time of death.
