Mrs. Lucile Taylor

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Lucile Taylor of Augusta, entered into rest Saturday, October 6, 2001, at her residence. Mrs. Taylor was the widow of Jack V. Taylor Sr. and is survived by a son, Jack V. Taylor Jr.; and a daughter, Lynda Allen; and five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mrs. Taylor was a retired secretary from Murray Buscuit Company and a long time member of Mann Memorial United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Gleaners Sunday School Class. She was also a volunteer worker at St. Josephs Hospital for many years. Mrs. Taylor has donated her body to science to the Medical College of Georgia. There will be a celebration of her life at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2001, at Mann Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. D. Kenneth Wright and Dr. Orin Sampson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Mann Memorial United Methodist Church, 2705 Milledgeville Road, Augusta, Georgia 30904.
