Mrs. Ruby Webb



WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Ruby Lee Webb, 75, entered into rest on October 3, 2001, after a prolonged illness. Mrs. Webb was born in Waynesboro, but later moved to Augusta where she worked and raised her children. She was a long time member of Macedonia Baptist Church of which Rev. Gregory Fuller is pastor. A mother of nine, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Janie Williams, Mrs. Marjorie Tyler, Mrs. Patricia Hudson; five sons, Jutson Webb Jr., Willie Webb, John Webb, Larry Webb, Charlie Webb; two sons-in-law, Lane Tyler, Terry Hudson; brother, Willie Joe Malone; 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members and close friends. Mrs. Webb is preceded in death by her husband, Jutson Webb; and a daughter, Josephine Griffin. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8, 2001, at 11 a.m. from Macedonia Baptist Church. Rev. J.S. Wright officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. There will be no viewing. For information, please contact the family at (706) 793-8554 or the funeral home.
