TODAY:

A Knight's Tale, with a rock 'n' roll soundtrack and Heath Ledger as a lower-class squire determined to be a knight, and Kingdom Come, with Whoopi Goldberg and LL Cool J in a comedy about a large family at a funeral, are out on video and DVD.

New record releases include the Days of the New's third self-titled album.

THURSDAY:

A concert featuring Avalon, Zoe Girl and Joy Williams will be held at 7:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of North Augusta, 602 Georgia Ave. Tickets are $14, or $12 each for a group of 20 or more. Call (803) 279-6370 for more information.

The Augusta Players will present Fiddler on the Roof at 9 p.m. at the Imperial Theatre, 745 Broad St. Other performances will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m Sunday. The Augusta Greek Picnic and Stepshow will be held at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds. Events include a concert from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., a comedy show 4-5:30 p.m. and the step show at 6-9 p.m. Tickets are $8 for Greeks or college students with ID, $10 for others in advance, $12 at the gate. Spike Lee's The Original Kings of Comedy will be shown at 6 and 8:30 p.m. as part of Augusta State University's weekly film series.
