AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Bill McKettrick, Mike Kerbelis and Dave Spencer - all playing in the same foursome - each carded holes-in-one at the West Lake Country Club in Augusta on Saturday.
Two of the shots came on the same hole.
McKettrick was the first, knocking in his ace with a 7-iron from 147 yards out on No. 8.
"Everyone said 'Get in the hole, go in the hole,' and it did," Spencer said.
Three players later, Kerbelis stepped up to the tee with his 7-iron and also hit it in the hole.
On No. 17, Spencer called his shot just after hitting it off the tee.
"After I hit the ball, I said 'Uh-oh boys, I think we've got another one,"' said Spencer, who hit an 8-iron on the 149-yard par-3 hole.
The foursome, which also included Mike O'Grady, was one of four teams playing in what is called Bubba Ball. Members show up at the course and are randomly teamed up. The grouping finished second despite its three aces.
Between the three of them, the players now have 11 holes-in-one.
Spencer is the co-head pro at the Augusta National Golf Club and has hit two aces there. One came on the 16th hole and the other on No. 6 on the Par 3 Course. McKettrick and Kerbelis each have three.
