AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest at her residence on Thursday, September 6, 2001, Ms. Eve Lou Williams of Smith Lane. Ms. Williams was a native of Augusta and a member of Jerusalem Baptist Church of which Rev. Tommy Burgess is pastor and where she sang on the choir. She was a custodian at Joseph Lamar Elementary School. Survivors include three sisters, Ms. Vanona Bradham, Ms. Michelle White, Mrs. Juanita Thronton; three brothers, Mr. Vernon Weatherspoon, Mr. Roosevelt Weatherspoon, Mr. Christ Weatherspoon; aunt, Mrs. Dorothy Jones, Augusta; uncle, Mr. Joseph (Jean) Williams, North Augusta, S.C.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 10, 2001, at 1 p.m., from Jerusalem Baptist Church Rev. Tommy Burgess officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
