EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Marie Lindsay Turner, 87, of Owens Road, Evans, beloved wife of the late Donald White Turner, died Saturday, September 8, 2001, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 10, 2001, at St. Augustine Episcopal Church with the Very Rev. Neal Phelps officiating. Burial will be in the church courtyard. Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. Turner of Allentown, Pa. and Richard W. Turner of Macon; two sisters, Elizabeth Cunningham of Charlotte, N.C. and Catherine Staples of Lithonia; two brothers, John Lindsay of Mooresville, N.C. and Eugene Lindsay of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren. A native of Anderson, S.C., Mrs. Turner had retired from Georgia Regional Hospital. She was an active member of St. Augustine Episcopal Church.
