SANDERSVILLE, Ga. - William Freeman Peeler Jr., age 11, of Highway 24 West in Sandersville, died Wednesday, September 5 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8 at 3 p.m. in the First Church of the Nazarene in Sandersville. The Rev. J. Emory Lindsey and the Rev. Jim Dunn will officiate, with burial in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery near Warthen. William was a six grade student at the T.J. Elder Middle School. He was a life long resident of Washington County and attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include his parents, William Freeman Peeler Sr. and Sherry Lewis Peeler of Sandersville; paternal grandfather, I. W. Peeler of Deepstep; maternal grandmother, Catherine Johnson Lewis of Warthen. May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville are in charge of arrangements. The family suggests that donations be made to the Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or the American Cancer Society. The family will be at the Peeler residence, 14648 Highway 24 West, Sandersville.
