AIKEN, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Ollie Widener Anderson will be held Sunday, September 9, 2001 at 3:30 p.m., at Bethcar Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Addy officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Anderson, 82, of Aiken, widow of Matthew Nathaniel Anderson, died Friday, September 07, 2001 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. She was born August 18, 1919 in Aiken County to Johnny and Larkie Sizemore Widener. She was a life long resident of Aiken County and was the retired owner of Andersons Beauty Salon. She was a member of Bethcar Baptist Church and was past Worthy Matron of Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include two sons, Matthew N. Anderson, Jr., Wagener, John Michael Anderson, Aiken; two daughters, Larkie A. Jeffcoat, Perry, S.C., Casina A. Cromer, Aiken; a brother, Clifton Widener, Aiken; a sister, Maudine Reese, Montmorenci; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Chris Anderson, John Anderson, Clint Anderson, Mark Jeffcoat, Rickey Jeffcoat and David Jeffcoat. Honorary pallbearers will be members of O.E.S. Friends may call at the residence of his daughter, Casina A. Cromer, 1005 Osbon Dr., Aiken or from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
