Mr. Milo Smith Jr.



FORT GORDON, Ga. - Mr. Milo Smith Jr., entered into rest on Friday, September 7, 2001, at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2001, 3 p.m., at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Ken Young officiating. Mr. Smith was born in Warren County, Georgia, but had resided in Augusta for the past 50 years and worked as a produce salesman. He was a veteran of World War II serving our country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Annie Smith, Augusta; his stepson, Ricky Masters, Augusta; his stepdaughter, Shirley Worrell, Orlando, Fla.; his brother, Rev. Raymond Smith, Rockfort, Texas; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association of Augusta, 246 Davis Road, Augusta, GA 30907.
