Georgia-Florida game to stay in Jacksonville

ATHENS, Ga. -- The University of Georgia Athletic Board approved a recommendation Friday to Jacksonville, Fla., and to the University of Florida to keep the annual Georgia-Florida game in Jacksonville at least through 2006.

The current contract is scheduled to end with the 2002 game, and Friday's recommendation is to extend it for four years.

Also approved were extensions on the contracts of two coaches.

Men's basketball coach Jim Harrick got a three-year extension on his contract, which results in a five-year contract through the 2006 season. The extension will include a $45,000 increase in compensation plus incentives.

The board also approved an extension for women's gymnastics coach Suzanne Yoculan that gives her a four-year contract through the 2005 season.
