FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- The Atlanta Falcons signed five players to the practice squad Tuesday, including receiver Eugene Baker and tight end Dallas Neil.
Baker and Neil spent the entire 2000 season on the 53-man roster but were waived on Sunday as the Falcons made their final cuts.
Also signed to the practice squad were three other players who spent the preseason in Atlanta: safety Corey Hall, tight end Jevaris Johnson and offensive tackle Dave Kadela.
Baker was drafted by the Falcons in 1999 and spent most of his rookie season on the practice squad before joining the roster for the final three games. He had seven receptions for 118 yards.
Last season, Baker made the 53-man roster but saw action in only one game. He didn't have a catch.
