GARFIELD, Ga. - Mrs. Ruby Larrimore Johnson, widow of the late Waylan Johnson, age 85, of Garfield, died Monday, September 3, 2001. She was born in Jenkins County, was a retired machine operator for The Thomson Company, a member of the Garfield Baptist Church, the Womens Missionary Union and the Garfield Community Club. Funeral Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 5 at the Garfield Baptist Church, with the Rev. Max Alderman and Rev. Bob Connally officiating. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery. Survivors include her son, Kenneth Johnson of Garfield; her two daughters, Betty J. Bussiere of Garfield, and Barbara J. Gordy of Jackson, S.C.; a sister, Myrtice Bradham of Millen; a brother, Billy Larrimore of Florence, S.C.; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Bill Kwiatkowski, Richard Johnson, Clay Johnson, Jason Oglesby, Ronnie Turner and John Bernon Sikes. Crowe-Fields Funeral Home in Millen in charge of arrangements.
