Vernon Ross



BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Graveside services for Vernon T. Ross, 67, of Beech Island who died August 31, 2001, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 3 p.m., in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Dr. Eleazer Benenhaley officiating. Vernon was an independent insurance adjuster for 29 years and an insurance agent for 13 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a graduate of Lanier High School in Macon. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Bobbie Ross; three children, Verna Kyles, Steve Ross and Laura Lee Sturgis; and a miniature Schnauzer, Max. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service. No flowers please. If you wish to remember Vernon, a memorial donation to any of the local humane societies would be greatly appreciated. Our sincere thanks to anyone who has prayed for us during Vernons illness.
