AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, August 30, 2001, at the V.A. Medical Center, D.D., Mr. Willie Scott Jr. of Fuller Street. Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 2, 2001, at 5 p.m., at Allen Chapel Baptist Church, Burke County with Rev. Eddie Fryer officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was a native of Augusta, a master electrician and owner of Electrical Systems. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and member of the Allen Chapel Baptist Church, Burke County. Survivors are one daughter, Lasana Roberson, Waynesboro; four sons, Tracy B. Scott, Willie Scott III, Carl Scott and Daniel L. Scott, Augusta; five sisters, Carrie Bell Ross, Willie Mae (Marion) Boler, Beverly Bentley, Virginia (John) Bowman, Jennifer Ann Purnell, Augusta; two brothers, David Purnell, Miami, Fla. and Leroy Scott, Augusta; one daughter-in-law, Tamiko L. Scott, Augusta; a devoted friend, Shirley Harris, Augusta; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Friends may call at 1411 Clark Road.
