Mrs. Ola Davidson



EVANS, Ga. - Entered into rest August 9, 2001, at Forest Lake Health Care, Mrs. Ola Mae King Davidson, wife of the late Mr. Metz Davidson. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m., on August 11, 2001, from the Thomas L. King Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Bill Arrington and Rev. Barry Keldie officiated. Interment was in Pierce United Methodist Churchyard Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons. Mrs. Davidson retired as a seamstress from a local sewing plant. She was born in Richmond County, Ga., and raised in the Pinetucky area which is now Fort Gordon. She attended Hoods Chapel School. Ola Mae was preceded in death by her son Frank O. Davidson. Other family members include four sons, Fred A. Davidson, Hardeeville, S.C., Jessie R. Davidson and Billy E. Davidson, Harlem, Ga., Bobby L. Davidson, Evans; a daughter, Mary Ann Reeves, Macon; a brother, Monroe King, McBean; a sister, Doris Newman, Augusta; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
