I have lived in Atlanta, California, Washington State, Montana, and other places in the last 30 years. I grew up in Augusta and recently moved back.
The reason there isn't racial healing is because it seems that the focus is continually on race. It's not the main issue in Atlanta or other cities.
I believe if all of the white pastors and all of the black pastors in this city would have a prayer gathering at one place and both sides would repent for racism and both sides ask each other to forgive them, then and only then will there be healing.
As long as we point a finger at one another, we will still have three fingers pointing back.
I've looked at both sides. Each one is right, yet both are wrong. I pray for a spirit of reconciliation for Augusta.
