I would like to thank you for the encouraging editorial on the six-week pre-matriculation program for minority and non-traditional students.
We are re-energizing our efforts to increase diversity at the Medical College of Georgia for the simple reason (as you pointed out) that a more diverse health professions work force is important in improving access and quality of health care available to all segments of the population in Georgia.
Editorial affirmation and encouragement help enormously in this endeavor.
