In the Rants and Raves section of the July 18 Augusta Chronicle, an anonymous complainant laid blame on the "lack of organization" at the CSRA Divisional Swim Meet with the Aiken-Augusta Swim League (ASL).
As most in attendance I'm sure are aware, ASL had absolutely nothing to do with that meet. The meet was being run by the CSRA Swim League. Perhaps the complainant should contact the league's president, Jeff Rout, to get the facts straight.
Rest assured, if ASL were running the meet, arrangements would have been made to have someone there who knew the computer system and could have fixed problems.
Additionally, the complainant referred to the Augusta Aquatics Center as the "ASL Aquatic Center." Wrong again.
Also, credit should be given to Gil Eustice who dealt with a very difficult situation that was no fault of his. The whole delay was a result of a merged computer program that provided erroneous information. The error was one that could have been corrected easily had it been noticed earlier in the week.
