KEYSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Essie Faglier Welch, 95, of Highway 88, died Monday, July 23, 2001, at the Keysville Nursing Home and Rehab. Center. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Lester Clark officiating. Mrs. Welch was a native of Jefferson County, Ga. She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Elizabeth W. Dye of Augusta; one son, Harold Welch of Augusta; one brother, L.R. Faglier of Augusta; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, in care of Mrs. Bobbie Kitchens, 1092 Oak Street, Avera, GA. 30803. Sheppard Funeral Home, Gibson, Ga. is in charge of arrangements.
